The Adventures of Packy: Part 1

This my friends is Packy-Boo. Packy for short. my little stuffed turtle I obtained in the Caribbean. This is Packy wearing my sunglasses at the beach!

Trip to the Caribbean: Day 2

DAY 2! yay! It's so amazingly nice to be able to wear tank-tops, skirts, and nothing else! Haaaaa~! Heaven. The night was a little creepy because people upstairs were making noise, but the sleep itself was satisfying.

This is the beach outside our house. I ate fruit-loops while looking out at this~ So gorgeous and a nice way to wake up in the morning.!
after being lazy all morning, we finally went up to have a real lunch! This place was nice and relaxing, and the food was very good! Very bar-like though. The sun was warm...

some of use had a nap :) (Morgan)
Our day went on, just touring the roads, getting lazy, and lost... and then watching "The Fighter" when we got back from a nice dinner at a grill in a bus! Oh My!

Trip to the Caribbean: Day 1

Alas this is the Caribbean: They don't have pigeons, but instead Roosters walking around. Roosters are friendly here, and unlike Pigeon, they walk right up to people and say hi. They love it.
And they greeted us at our plane, and in the parking lot of the airport. Why don't we have cute Roosters?

Anyways. We arrived nicely after 3 hours or so of flight, to the Cayman Islands in the Caribbean.
The sky's were blue, and refreshing after the constant raining and grayness in America/Philadelphia. Everything was so green it was nice!

We went to get our car, and it turned out to be a Mini Cooper... wow. So tiny. But it's cozy! We drove to our condos, and it turned out to be a nice living area. I made myself at home right away!

This is the front of our house - - - >

See~? I made myself right at home with my accessories and what-not :3

I'm so happy I have a dresser! I cant put all my cute things~

The typical beach. We went to the one at a hotel! Look how blue the water is! And the sand is so soft and pure~ not dirty or littered of! yay!

A nice sunset on the Cayman Island. It was just like a rainbow in the sky! It's so gorgeous!

After admiring the beautiful beach and taking a nice half hour walk, the family (Me, mom, dad, and Morgan the sister) went to dinner. While we were waiting for my mom to cancel other reservations and for my dad to get out of the bathroom *sigh* we saw a beautiful flying lantern! yes! A lit lantern floating in the sky! It was amazing! I could not get picture thought... cause it was too high up! But it was lovely!

We had a nice "all you can eat" dinner buffet, with almost every kind of seafood in the world. There was Sushi! YES! yummy! And there was rice and lobster and so much other. including DELICIOUS dessert!

Then we returned to the condo, and watched "Inception" and "The Kings Speech" amazing!

(P.S. Sorry for such a late entry... it is ACTUALLY day 3, but the condo internet was down for two days! *sob*)

CUTE DRESS

I have gotten my dress: It's adorable!

Shangri-La-la-la

I'm currently very obsessed with the karaoke of "Kimi Shinitamou Koto Nakare" by May'n

Original / Romaji LyricsEnglish Translation
Donna basho de
Donna koe de
Doushitai tte
Ai wa naiterun darou
At what sort of place?
With what sort of voice?
"What do you want to do?"
Love is crying, isn't it?
Sou ja nai
Sekai wa tokku ni owatterun da
Hajimari nante miataranai
That's not right
The world has long since ended
The beginning can't be found
Wakaru yo
Kimi ga misenai itami no zenbu
Kono karada de kanjitai kara
I know it
Everything, even the pain that you don't show
Because I want to feel it with my body
Jibun ni nani ga dekiru ka dou ka nante
Hashiridashite hajimete kizuki deshou
I'll realize what I can do or not
For the first time, when I start running, right?
Kimi shi ni tamou koto nakare
Yami no hate me o korashita yo
Doko de donna koe de doushitai tte
Ai wa naiterun darou
Thou shalt not die
I strained my eyes at the edge of darkness
At where? With what sort of voice? "What do you want to do?"
Love is crying, isn't it?
Utsukushii mori to kiyoraka na mizu o wasure
Kono machi wa odori hajimeta
Forgetting about the beautiful forests and pure water
This city began to dance
Dare hitori kizutsukenaide ikite yuku no wa
Muzukashii koto na no desuka
Is it a difficult thing
To live without hurting anyone?
Tadashii koto mo nikushimi ya ikari mo
Ko egaku you ni subete meguru kedo
Righteous things; hatred, and anger
Like drawing an arc, I cycle through everything, but-
Kimi shi ni tamou koto nakare
Kimi no tame taorete mo haiagaru
Ano hi terashite yuuhi ga
Kawashita kanjou ga kono mune ni aru kara
Thou shalt not die
For your sake, even if I'm defeated, I'll still crawl back up
Because the setting sun that shone upon us on that day
And feelings that we exchanged are in my chest
Ikite miro ai o tsunage
Todoiteru? Kono tamashii ga...
Doko de
Donna koe de
Doushitai tte
Ai wa naiteru
Try to live, connect to love
Is my soul reaching you...?
At where?
With what sort of voice?
"What do you want to do?"
Love is crying
Kimi shi ni tamou koto nakare
Kimi no tame taorete mo haiagaru
Ano hi terashita yuuhi ga
Kawashita kanjou ga kono mune ni aru kara
Thou shalt not die
For your sake, even if I'm defeated, I'll still crawl back up
Because the setting sun that shone upon us on that day
And feelings that we exchanged are in my chest

Cherries

"There cherries grow which none may buy
 Till “Cherry-ripe” themselves do cry."

                                    - by Thomas Campion

Part of a poem I really liked. I thought it went well with these tiny cherry-looking fruits!

CUTE THINGS!

Isn't it CUTE!? These are all my phone chains. I bought I bunch for my special peoples. ^_^ I have a bunch left to give out later. I bought I banana one with a goofy face, but I gave to my friend Leland. The bunny one is definitely my favorite, it's all cute and bunny! The cactus looking one is a Toki Doki character, and the blue, mad looking one, is a Tora Dora character. He's all mad! Heehee! Three is better than one!

Trip to NYC Part 4: Staton Island: Scholar Garden

For out FINAL stop, we went to Staton Island, to a Chinese scholar garden. It was absolutely a must see! Upon entering the garden, there was a bamboo tunnel. It was so cool I had to tape it:

This is the outside of the scholar garden. It had fish in a pond, that the Japanese call "Koi" but the Chinese call "knowing fish" they fallowed us all around the garden, hoping for food. See them down there? Aren't they cute?

In the inside. there was a whole other side of the pond, and a room like so - where the scholars would meet and gather around to discuss. Or where the scholar of the garden would go to be in quiet to work. The design is beautiful no? We went inside, but the outside is by far the only pretty part of it. Otl. Then there was this amazing mosaic outside, it was made of so many things I could not imagine a mosaic could have: the white parts are made of a rice bowl, the green and dark brown (black) parts are made of beer bottles, and the redish brick colored parts are actually made from bricks. It's a beautiful mosaic of a crane in a garden. Some angry lady smashed part of it. Shame on her. for ruining such pretty art!
After this garden, all we did, was go home... I slept. And then got a call from Sam Pettinati... that was strange. Oh well :) We got back around 6:30. I was so tired, I fell asleep doing homework!

Trip to NYC Part 3: FOOD AT LAST!

Finally! We got CHINESE FOOD! Yummy! (I love Japanese more though, sushi <3) Anyway, we went to a restaurant called "Ollies" they were really fast with their service, so we got to eat speedy quick. Though Tr. Li and the waitress kept having a long conversation, so it took a while for my table to order.

But it was all worth the wait! Because the food came, and it was delicious! I sat at a table with Ariel, Young In, Grace, Juny, Tr. Li and a few other girls I don't know,  but they seemed sweet. I liked them! Doesn't it all look yum?

Trip to NYC Part 2: Liao Yibai Gallery

I have to say, this was probably the most amazing thing I have seen! This is second gallery we wents to! This man, Liao Yibai, made all these statues out of stainless steal, but first made a model out of clay and then molded it in plastic, and then used stainless steal (something like that). But it was gorgeous! The statues were amazing to look at, mostly of birds, they were my favorite. Very different from Jiang's work. He called it "Real Fake" (his work I mean) because he took logos from two different famous umm... logos? Haha I forget the word, but he took two logos and made them into one thing. (The tree to the left, must have been the most impressive things there, it took him around 16 months to complete)!

Trip to NYC Part 1: Jiang Huan Gallerey

Well. Our Mandarin class decided to take trip to NYC! Yay! We saw so many amazing and beautiful things. Our first stop was a Chinese art show, by Jiang Huan. It was interesting because he used oil paints and not ink. All the models were beautiful in his paintings, and my favorite one, was of a girl holding a cat. According to Tr. Yen, (other Mandarin teacher) the girl was a race car driver. She doesn't look it! O_o (Oh by the way, we were allowed to take picture). Most of the model were same girls, but some were different, and that made things really cool. It was also cool because he used more Chinese style, but fused with American style. His paintings were gorgeous! This picture to the left, is my favorite one. Of girl with cat. I can't believe she is a race car driver!

At this point we are all very hungry, and Tr. Li is telling me I have to collect Mandarin words for tomorrow. So I ask my friends Ariel and Grace, who are in higher class than me, and so they decide to teach me how to say "your dog ate my banana." Here they are (to the right) saying it:

They're so silly! I love them both! Well... then was all left this gallery and moved on to another one, which I will post about in a few minutes. :)

Pretty!

My friend Cass has really cool magnets, so I decided to take picture, and it came out all cute and cool like this: Isn't it pretty? All shiny and round. <3

I Hate Mondays...

Is true. Mondays are so long! BORING. They even have gross lunch :(
See? -sigh- SUSHI DAY TOMORROW. Only I wont be at school tomorrow, because Mandarin class is going to NYC! Yay!

The  fun part of day was Mandarin (and after school ended) because, is just really fun. Tr. Li is so funny! I very much love her! DokiDoki! She says funny things
In this video, Tr. Li is trying to add numbers in Chinese. (I have permission to post and record this) she sounds silly to me. But to others is normal. I hope she will always be my Mandarin teacher.

Also! The results of spirit day was spoken! I was not there (sick) for spirit day, but I WAS on team brown... we lost. Gold won. But that is okay! There is always next time! This is the annual trophy the winning team gets! Pretty isn't it? Brown will get one next time! Heehee, I'm such a weirdo, taking pictures of everything.

I saw India!

Saturday: I went to Rittenhouse Square to meet up with camp friend India Shill, (Shindia Ill) heehee. I haven't gotten to see her out from school, and when I do, she has lot homework. So it was a very exciting day!
While I wait for her, I saw the cutest twins, one girl, one boy. They were fighting over a small plastic starbucks coffee cup. When the father gave it to the girl, the boy started crying, and when the father gave to boy, the girl cried. And when he took it and started to drink, the both started screaming. It was very funny! I wanted to video it, but that seemed creepy.
But then INDIA came! Yay! She is crazy midget! Heehee. We walked around the square and across the square for a while. She found a flower pot, and picked flower from it, and put each in our hair. Bad India! (India and Me in picture, left to right). We went to drug store, and bought Hello Pandas. YUM! They're so tasty! And then we got Koala something. They were not as good. Still YUM!

After that, we sat on the top of the Rittenhouse fountain, and ate our snakes. We also saw the CUTEST puppy(not so much) swimming in the fountain. He was all fluffy and cute and powpy! I wanted to take him home!
That Saturday day was really fun! I love you India! Oh and "HEEELLOOO?" <3

Thursday lunch!

At lunch on Thursday, we played hockey with a Snapple cap! :D We are the coolest high schoolers ever no? If I can get the video system here to work, then I will show video:

Anyways, of course as always, Emmi only ate chips. I am starting to worry about her, seriously :) And now she had Clara doing it too. Oh no! My friends don't eat. I feel like a piggy when I sit with them, cause I eat the whole cafeteria... orls.
My Lunch:                                                                   Their Lunch:

Do you see what I mean? Crazy no? They are silly!! I sat with my friends Juny, Emmi, Clara, Matthew, Grace and Afeerah! I love them alls!
This is Juny and Emmi (right to left). Aren't they adorable!? <3 I was so jealous of Juny's hair clip! I was going to as to take picture, since it so cute! But that seemed a little weird. Heehee.

TWIN DAY! (and more cute things)

It was twin day Thursday! (only nao did I have time to mention it though...) Me and the other Cora dress up together as twins! We dominate! Cause we looked amazing! I wore my cutest shoes too! I'm very proud of them. They are comfy too! Well... if you have small feet like me! (I am a 6). I was the female twin, and other Cora was like my brother twin! Yay!

My friend Mya brought her cute panda bear! I wanted to stealz it! It was so puffy and cute and PANDA-y that I almost could not help myself. I seriously need a panda. Heehee.

ISN'T IT CUTE!?

Cute Stuffz! XONG MAO

This is my kewt camera case! It has cute panda on it, I call Xong Mao, because it means "panda" in Mandarin! It is very soft and keeps my camera safe! And then there is pencil, which belongs to me! It's my favorite, and I use it in every class! It is Hello Kitty! Love love love!

This is inside of my locker! I keep all my cute things up there! My locker isn't very pretty though. Only my stuff, heehee! My erasers are smelly, and me and my friends smell them during class! They smell GOOD!

School Time!

Everything was fun about to day! Even Quakerlism (which not many people enjoy) was fun! We had lot of tests, but we prevail, because we are strong!

(This is Quakerism flags, of different cultures. I am sure they all read "peace").

Break was very nice as well. I didn't eat very much, I was not hungry today. Strange. Maybe it was cause it was morning. I don't like eating in mornings.
There was also MFW, (meeting for worship) which is... quiet. But I enjoy silence. Sadly I have no pictures, my camera is noisy, and we are not allowed to be noisy in the meeting house. Me and other Cora, entertained each other, by tying red string to our pinkies. We are twinnies after all!

Good morning sleepy heads! This was at lunch (i thinkies?) Emmi (far left) only eats chips, for both break AND lunch. She's silly! But I love her!

This is mainly what my meal is! Arizona Mango and Iced Tea Half/Half. My absolute favorite! They usually don't have! I was happy they did today! Yum! o_o

About me? Oh um...

Hello Blogger!
Wow this is very strange! I have never used a blog before.
So... i just explain about me then? Well then, I guess I will do random facts!
But first!
Please call me Cora! Because that is my name.
I really love sweet things. I preserve 99% of my stomach only to fill them up on sweet snacks, like cookies and cakes and mochi! Oh yum!
My passion is to draw. I very much like the anime/manga style! It's super-cute.
Another thing, I LOVE cute things: Hello Kitty, Panda's, Lolita Style, and cute accessories like bows and frilly-ness.
My all time favorite fruit is strawberries! They're just so yummy!! O3o
I am currently taking Chinese (aka Mandarin) but... I really want to be learning Japanese. I can't say much yet, but I can say few things, "Ni hao, wo shi xong mao, ni ne?" or "wo sheng ri shi, qi yue shi hao." It sounds cool, but really I am basic things. "Hello, my name is Panda, how are you?" and "My birthday is the month of seven on the day of ten" (July 10th, otl).
My Chinese teacher is crazy! She named me Panda, and gushes whenever I speak. She says "Xong Mao so cute! Xong Mao cute!" a lot. Xong Mao means Panda, by the way :3
Along with basic Chinese, I speak basic Japanese, though I make many mistakes. "Watashi wa Cora-desu." or "watashi gambataro!" I sound stupid, orlz! I say "I am Cora." and "I will do my best!" I know others, but I too lazy right now.
Hmm... I am pretty lazy, as a matter a fact. I don't like to do many things when I don't feel like it. I prefer to sleep all day instead of go outside. But I do enjoy outdoors. I do a lot!
My favorite subject in High School is English! Mainly because I am enjoying the writing. I love to write stories and books, though I usually do not finish them. I am hoping my English teacher will look them over, and edit them for me. Maybe one day I publish!
I am also a swimmer! I am fast enough to be on team. But it hurts me lots. I get super tired, and sometimes I have to go home early cause I will be washed. My coach is tough! But she is very great!

This goes on. :) I hope to be able to make more posts, and show everyone how fun can be! I post many crazy things, varying from silly school, to cooking recipes, to trips, and then fun times with my life, (aka my best friends)! I don't like my parents though, so I no write about them. I'm kidding though, I love them very much!! They are my life as well!

Bye-Bye for now.
(No comments really needed, I plan this for family and friends mainly. But do if you must. I still love comments). Thank you all!
